Switching to 2/week scheme
We're officially switching to a 2/week update schedule for Chasing the Sunset. The short version of the reason is that we simply do not have sufficient time to make 3 strips per week and still have fun.
The long version, is long.

Well, alright then, I guess we owe you a long version then :)
Basically, each update takes between 6 and 12 hours to make, divided between Alien and myself. The 3/week schedule means that, on average, each of us is spending some 2 hours per day on comic (tho lately this has been shifting more towards 1 hour/day for me and 3 hours/day for Alien). That might seem little, considering a day does have 24 of those hours in it, but obviously comic isn't all we do. I got a more-than-full-time job, for instance.
Also, 3/week means no breaks. Okay, we're coming from a hugely long hiatus just now, but trust me when I say that was not for relaxation. With 3/week we have to spend several hours a day on comic, every day of the week, every week of the year. Again, that's quite a bit of effort.
Which brings us to the most important part:
Making Chasing the Sunset is a hobby.
It's supposed to be fun for us. That's why we do it. We don't get paid for it (on the contrary). What we get out of CtS is the joy of making it and the satisfaction of the idea that maybe we have made some people's days a little better, or made somebody, somewhere, smile (which is why we love comments, it shows people read us!).
We've been doing this comic for over 7 years now, and we still love doing it, but we can't manage 3/week anymore, not without it getting too stressful. Not without it stopping to be fun. So we won't.
Therefore, we're hereby switching to 2/week for indeterminate time. Updates will be Monday and friday (tho not on friday 5/3 as we already updated wednesday this week).

Still, RSS feeds are great: whatever the delay between comics, I know I won't miss any. So I'd rather know that you like doing it and I will read it for a long time rather than have more now, for a short time, and then have you burn out and quit.

Don't overwork yourselves for us.
See? You can see it as "dang one less comic" or you can be happy about having 2 comics every week ^^ I know which option i pick! :)

It's not like I've got any cause to complain, seeing as the comic is completely free for me to enjoy. So it's really not a lot to ask, that you guys get to actually enjoy your part of this interaction as well.
