Tyither says:

Is it just me, or does the bluer she gets the more she is wrong? Is blue the magic color of fail?

Sir Gawain says:

Anyone else think she'll be in a foul mood when Leaf finally gets her down? Maybe if we start running now, we'll be safe when she blows up.

Daskis says:

Only safer Sir Gawain, there is no safe

Sir Gawain says:

Hmm. Probably true, but we could make a decent try of it.

The Paladin says:

I sense bad things about to happen. Prepare yourselves

Mime says:

Bad things is an understatement when it comes to this group.

Mime says:

Okay umm...
Hydralisks?
as in starcraft or ???

Odofitzg says:

Hmmm, that background is awfully familiar. It's as if I had seen it in a hundred side-scrolling games. On the other hand Ayne really doesn't do "distress" well. I suspect she'll be free by the time Leaf gets there.

-Norbert- says:

I guess their time with pixies hardened them against being surprised by someone simply appearing out of nowhere in front of them with a "poof".
I love how she sais "hang" corrected instead of stand corrected :)

Osk says:

well, now we also know why there will be no basilisk in the trial (several pages back), its a hydralisk. still, don't feed it. Anyway, Ayne seems more annoyed than distressed. she's probably more adept at causing distress, and i gues Leaf will be greatly distressed seeing her hanging there

Kenoscope says:

One does wonder. Simply how was she overcome. I strongly doubt that she would have allowed this without some complaint. Like a city blowing up?

Pulsy says:

i suspect Ayne went 'poof' as well. Also hr hair is turning green in the last panel, i wonder if it's from anger.

RocksMapsandCrafts says:

So is a hydralisk the aqueous version of a basilisk? What does it do, freeze you instead of petrifying you with a glance?

Nibelli says:

Asfar as I know a hydralisk is part hydra and part basilisk, so it is about six times more fun!

Nebra Reppalk says:

Hydralisks, as I know them and as mentioned above, are some of the best warriors of the Zerg swarm from Starcraft. I recommend holding the high ground with bunkers and siege tanks.

Wildfire says:

I'd say right now she's more annoyed than distressed =)
Somehow a Hydralisk seems "out of epoch", maybe it's supposed to be a Hydra instead? You know, the Greek one with many heads =D

Golux says:

Notice that Malvenicus kindly hangs her by her good leg.

InBetween says:

hmm, i gues you could say that she is a damsel in (the midel of) distress, but that is probably the only way to make that role work...
Also, i suspect that she will prove quite apt at this role when she gets down from there...
ok, i will start running now, mb i can stil clear the blastrange...

Lee says:

Is Myhrad biting his claws in Panel 4?

InBetween says:

i think so...

Tensko1234 says:

I know its silly it but I get the feeling a pixie will save the day...

rei says:

LOL i dont do distress, i cause, its my new motto!

Skreyola says:

You know... I wonder if I'm the only one who thinks Leaf will come into the room, see Ayne, say hi, and walk on by, possibly thinking to himself something like, "She's not a damsel in distress type, so she can't need me to rescue her."

Skreyola says:

Erm, what I mean is, Leaf would know that Ayne would get upset if he tried to rescue her.

Sitara says:

I can't imagine that position to be very comfortable.

What's Myhrad's role?

Chariset says:

Wow... he got the better of Ayne. He's good.

-Norbert- says:

You all do remember that Malv is a Mage right and that he can teleport, let thunder roar at the mere mention of his name and turn a flying castle (including it's own "climate bubble") into a snowball and back?
Surely someone like that wouldn't have a problem with overpowering Ayne.
She does have a temper that let a dwarf look pacifistic in comparison, but that won't help against magic...

Icala says:

Pulsy: Her hair is blue and there is red light below her. I imagine it's the firelight reflecting off her hair that makes it look green.

thefieryonionofDOOOM says:

Ayne is a damsel of sorts in a distressing situation, but not herself in distress (or maybe she is but would rather die than yell for help)

Silverwolf says:

Phantom Data: "Don't feed the hydralisks. The Mutalisks are okay, though."

journeyman says:

The green is the cloak she's wearing. You can see it clearly in the 5th panel.
