The lava dragon may, indeed, be an enemy of Myhrad's parents. Or a hunting rival. Or maybe, just maybe, just as Leaf is searching for his father and making a reputation for himself, Myhrad's folks are looking for him and gaining a reputation in dragon society?

Anyways, I just wanted to say that the comic is GREAT, I love it to death! I've been reading for a while and the artwork has come a long way (Though it WAS awesome to begin with, make no mistake), and you're expressions are really something else.
To the comic; my first thought was that they were some weird version of Myhrad's parents as well, I mean, what if he doesn't remember them correctly and the picture we saw wasn't really what they looked like? That could happen. OR they could have NO relation and be sorta like friends of the family, and Myhrad reminds the orangy fire dragon of his parents. It could happen. Guess we'll find out eventually!

So far you are unable to see the red dragon's right eye. Even in panel 4, from where you can see straight down, you are unable to see either eye. As far as i can tell the scar is a regular scar. By looking at the dragons closer to find this out i noticed that the dragons' eyes are set at the side of their heads. Being preditory animals this dosent make sense. My only theory is that they didn't have time, or the need to evolve that way.

I don't think they are his parents. Even if the motehr was scorched by lightning, her horns are far diffrent, and are yellow instead of red. Father didn't really have horns, and doesn't have that fin looking thing on his ehad nor on his tail. Hence, these are new dragons.

Actually, that's a really good idea. Also, if you look at, say, Comic #282, you can see that she (for some reason, I automatically assumed the orange one was his mom in backstory) had a row of little horns down her face. This one has a row of broken-off horns. She also had larger arms than the blue one. But the blue dragon in this comic definitely couldn't be his dad. Different body shape, different head.

My two cents on the parental debate. The 'lava' dragon could be his mother. If you go back in the archives you will see that on the same day that Leaf lost his dad, Myhrad's mother was struck by lightning while rescuing him from those baddies that kidnapped him. The two look very similiar. As for the blue one...I'm not really sure. We'll find out soon enough.
