Hah hah, I can feel Ayne's (sp?) pain. But I'm so glad that Myhrad finally breathed fire. *Claps*
matire says:
just read this from start to here this comic is pretty cool
Sabreur says:
Myhrad doesn't handle a crisis very well, does he?
The expressions and poses are just great. I love how everyone looks in the last panel.
Nebra Reppalk says:
I know how Myhrad feels. That "Wait, did I just do that? That couldn't have been me, I...oh my, I REALLY DID just do that..." sort of feeling. This feeling happens a lot when you lack self confidence, which I kinda do... so yeah. *Edges off into dark corner and beins muttering o self*
Pulsy says:
That floating bed of Feiht's is so great, i want one like that! Also, Myrhad in shock is very cute, especially in the first panel :D
The G. says:
Will his wings now start to grow? He'll finally be able to fly!
Dark Dragon says:
Yes! Go MYHRAD!!!
(and thank divine/celestial beings for the hint-turneroffer...)
I love Myhrad's expression in the last pannel...
rotfl/lmao....
Dark Dragon says:
Woot?
Somesuch says:
I think Myhrad looks a little scared.
furia firelander says:
Yes, i think they should be scared
thewatermelon says:
wootwootwootwootwoot!!!!!!!!!!!!
thewatermelon says:
mith, you already have a comic entitled System Shock.
AnyaDraconis says:
Myhrad's expressions are priceless. :)
And I have no words for the last panel...it's just....:D!
AnyaDraconis says:
And, ummmmm, Mith? This might be just something on my end, but the (absolutely spiffing) new site keeps alerting me that I haven't read nearly the entire comic. And I have. It makes me confused. :(
espademia says:
ya! Myhrad breaths fire!
Chariset says:
I love the way Myr's tail is wrapped around his legs in the first panel.
Khyrhon says:
Hehe, even better than the last one! Myhrad looks so starled throughout, and in the last frame he looks like he is about to hyperventilate and faint. That lava dragon from way back in comic 100-something had the right idea, we should all find a new galaxy. A pixie armed with a fire breathing dragon... I love the comic this year, even more than before!
You know, this makes me think about where this comic woill end up. I started reading when they were almost at the dragon's cave. I went back to the beginning, read the whole thing, and loved it. Since then, I've been following along. I wonder if we will ever see Myhrad as a full grown dragon, what happened to Leaf's father, and how they will survive with Feiht around... the plot could go in any direction, we will just have to wait and see! Happy pixie-armed-with-dragonfire day!
Mossstar says:
Really, thewatermelon? which one is it?
AnyaDraconis says:
The name does sound familiar.
Ninja Girl says:
Fire! Woot!!
Khyrhon says:
Found the repeat! comic #362 - System shock. It's where Ayne has been frozen by looking into the eyes of the ancient dragons. Wow, it took a while to read through all 362 titles... Speaking of, has anyone here been around from the beginning? I've been around since about the time when they were in the city where Feiht got lost, about comic 40 something, but I didn't use the forums until recently.
GremLyn says:
Is there no more timeclock? Will comics only be posted once a week?
Love the new site, and bigger comic...just curious
Here, I found this quiz online (click on my name) that predicts your race, class, and alignment. It's decently accurate so if you're interested, try it while you're waiting for the next comic.
I took the quiz suggested by Nebra Reppalk...
heh heh heh... I am a Chaotic Evil Elf Mage Cleric
......that's a lot more evil than I usually am....
but the Elf Mage Cleric part is right(in D+D I usually choose a wizard....fireball *drools*)
I tend to be more neutral...
Sami_the_ghost says:
I wonder if that's the dragon fetal possision.(in panel 1)
And to think, what is logical but for flying to follow?
This is great, Myhrad breathing fire=) After he get over the did-I-really-do-that stage, he's sure to be one happy dragon.
AnyaDraconis says:
Hmm. Apparently I'm a True-Neutral Half-Elf Cleric Ranger. That's interesting.......
Alignment:
True Neutral characters are very rare. They believe that balance is the most important thing, and will not side with any other force. They will do whatever is necessary to preserve that balance, even if it means switching allegiances suddenly.
Wow. The alignment is perfect for the character I was using to base my choices on, but I would be a dragon... oh well, at least one part is completely accurate! And an elf is probably the next closest to my character anyway!
Khyrhon says:
I did it again slightly differently and this is what I got:
You Are A:
Chaotic Good Human Fighter
Alignment:
Chaotic Good characters are independent types with a strong belief in the value of goodness. They have little use for governments and other forces of order, and will generally do their own things, without heed to such groups.
That one REALLY didn't fit.. I'm always a mage, never a human (when I can avoid it), and I prefer killing and stealing and doing what I want when I feel like doing it then being "good". Hmm, I guess I wasn't being quite accurate with my choices... some I just chose the closest when none fit...
Nebra: Lawful Good Elf Monk Fighter ... where this came from ? Oh ... of course. Swords add a LOT points to fighter (Lawful Good Elf Monk Mage with staff) and I don't get chaotic points for contraindicating myself ...
Nebra Reppalk says:
Yeah, I've taken it a few times. Every single time I've been Lawful-Neutral or Lawful-Good, and I've always been a fighter. That's pretty accurate considering fighter's my favored class and I definitely tend more towards Law than Chaos. However my race has varied on the quiz, needless to say I'm a dwarf most of the time.
On a side note, I usually have to play a cleric when we do a campaign because we've already got either a paladin or barbarian or both, so we don't need a fighter but we need a healer, so I get medic duty.
My result doesn't seem much accurate, but maybee it's the best what I can get in AD&D .... I would like to se the code ... there was some difficult questions (in a "what will be most close to the real answer which is missing" sense) ... maybee I'll try to take it some more times ...
Umm, fire! Myhrad, fire! I don't think it's sinking in. At least now he can fly!
Tournesol says:
chaotic neutral human bard. The profession fits since I'm an actor, but I tend to think of myself as more of a neutral good guy. I tend to be neutral good fighters when i roleplay
JuneBug says:
WOOT!
MoonMinx says:
I loooove myhrad in the first panel
TheNextTaggerung says:
myhrad's eyes are perfectly round in panels 1, 4, and 6
MoonMinx says:
I love Myhrad's position in the first panel. I would have done exactly that minus the tail if I had breathed fire.
Darkwacky says:
Think of the possibilities!

also, poor Ayne, having to deal with the now-awake Feiht...
