first comment

ivellios says:

ok first comment secure now for a proper one the furies are very calm for creatures of anger

Sitara says:

yay 3rd comment.
Pure anger? I guess Lief must have always been scary, we just never knew.

Sitara says:

Also..."Actually, that sums it up pretty well" is just perfectly timed. Lol.

I guess the furies were just further away in the last comic, although that leads itself to the question of how there's space in the Void anyway.

CrayonofDark says:

no... i win.
why HAS he been chosen? ahh the mystery gets deeper and deeper lol
oh! feiht looks totally awesome in the 3rd panel.

Seaspray says:

From the looks of this strip, the pixies may actually have exocised Leaf... at least until the Furies play them at their own game and start going 'gimmie'

sleepyfoo says:

Leaf's anger is pure because he is truely an innocent, pure at heart, and somewhat naive to the ways of the world. His anger is only called forth, in theory, at the source of true pain and suffering; for in his world view there shouldn't be any. This makes his anger seemingly righteous which the furies desire, as they were probably spawned from an injustice similar to those leaf doesn't believe (realize) exist. Also Leaf is not an angry person, so it is hard to draw forth his anger.

The problem with this is when a minor injustice that could be cleared up with a little talking and patience (the undeserved pain inflicted on Ayne) arises and distresses and (somewhat) angers Leaf, the furies magnify and blow everything out of proportion.

Just some speculation on my part

Pulsy says:

Wow we discovered something in the universe that can render a pixie speechless #.# Someone should write that down or something :P

Nebra Reppalk says:

Well we could look at this from either side of the Force debate:

Light Side: Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to sufering.

Dark Side: Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to power, power leads to victory.

Osk says:

i wonder if leaf will be able to resist his natural urges of helping others.... "they neeed me"

Awesome says:

Guys, I personally think this "first comment" stuff needs to stop.

I like how the furies talk in sequence. I've tried that with my friends and people give us strange looks. :P

Chariset says:

Run, Leaf!

I wonder if they could just leave the Furies in the void. That's probably where they were before.

Retiarius says:

Heh. More like:

Light Side: Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to whining.

Dark Side: Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to really black wardrobes and a lot of inept minions.

"Ooo, ain't I a stinker?" :P

Kieah says:

I may be wrong but it looks like Fieht's feet are miscolored in the next to last panel (they are white instead of flesh colored).
And a nitpick really, but when she says "Well, that's that cleared up." Shouldn't it be sometime like "Well, now that's cleared up."? Though the more I read that line over (and over, and over) the more it fits.
She is fay. And in the void. Sense has no place there, does it? Well, not where Fieht is conserned anyway.
If it matters it is 12:36 here as I'm typing, and I act part fay-ish in my head most of the time anyway so you might want to ignore me. lol

Squirt says:

does anyone know where the page is that was like a web-glossary?

says:

freaky

says:

Seems the furies don't want to tangle with pixie magic.

Skreyola says:

I'm glad I no longer see people calling the furies furries. :)

Nebra Reppalk says:

Furries. I actually have a quasi-humorous incident regarding that term. You see, my friends were trying to chibi-tize me. (Chibi-small little cute thing in anime) And if any of you have seen Azumanga Daioh (highly recommended) You remember Chiyo-chan's penguin costume? Well anyway one of my friends came up to me suggesting i should go to a furrie as a penguin. Needless to say my friend recieved several bludgeons from my lightsaber.

Sorry, inside joke. And the chibi-tizing campaign continues, unfortunately.

bookbook says:

I can't help but feel some pity for the furies. I mean, they just want to simply create a life possessing innocent beings and causing them to blast other innocent beings with their furious magic. Can't we let them do that?
Seriously, all they want to do is what their nature is. They can't resist their nature. It's impossible.
I'm really feeling some pity for the Fury side now.
Furry Furies! Furry Furies! Just like the little kitties that the Hell's Pixies ride on!

Tensko says:

poor Leaf....

Lightwing k'Sheyna says:

Trust a pixie to say the thing that makes the most sense in a situation that doesn't whatsoever.

Adi Sagestar says:

You know, I think the Furies could have made a better choice... Ayne for example. *shudders*

Lightwing k'Sheyna says:

Oh, and I think I mentioned that I was going to take my falconry test, but I did pass, with a score of 48/50. I'm quite excited.

Sitara says:

Congrats Lightwing!

Also, extremely bright ambient lighting can explain the white-appearing feet Feiht has. And "that's that cleared up" is still grammatically accurate. Instead of commenting on the time it's taken to clear it up, she's talking about the issue being cleared up. Does that explain it right?

Lightwing k'Sheyna says:

Thanks, Sitara.
-is happy-

says:

The furies talk in sequence.
Just like Donald's nephews.
Be very very afaid.

bookbook says:

Who among us has read the Perseus Jackson and the Olympians series?
'Cause I have an argument to joining the evil side about it!

Nebra Reppalk says:

Lightwing: Congratulations on your falconry test. I'm not so good with animals myself...

Starsage: I want you and anyone else who cares to know that FANFICTIONS ARE THE DESTRUCTION OF WESTERN-JAPANESE CULTURE AS WE KNOW IT. The lack of original ideas in a society foretells stagnation and decay.

Lightwing k'Sheyna says:

Yay, more people care!
My friend was over for lunch that day, to celebrate, and he totally missed the point of the whole 'go-out-to-lunch-to-celebrate-Lightwing-passing-her-test' thing. Grr.

Coyote says:

That's right, Nebra. There's too many people with no mental capacity to speak of, and we're not allowed to use them for food or forced labor. What to do?

Pixel Kitty says:

I don't suppose we'll get an explination now? Although with the pixies there i kinda doubt it, well, maybe an illogical explination...

Bubbles says:

That's CtS for ya: Name one other comic where you get to see two pixies, a floating boy, and 3 anthropomorphic fireballs standing in- litterally- the middle of nowhere.

hailstorm says:

This is getting scary...... MUFFINS
