Ooh, and I meant 'of course' as in 'of course the stairs go down to the top!' I mean, what do you expect?
...Anybody ever read Searching for Dragons by Patricia Wrede? Mendanbar's castle has similar problems... :D
-Norbert- says:
Interesting... Even Ayne eyecolor changes. Before the Amazons she had green eyes.
Oh and if anyones interested, when looking it up I found out that Scamper (the Squirrel) had his fist appearance in Comic 7.
invisibly immortal says:
Oooh, I love Searching for Dragons! I agree. (Those books are awesome. Like this comic. Hehe.)
Pulsy says:
Gotta love magical mazes. Substandard shading? where? o.O
Ooh, the wall DOES say "Get Lost"!
Wow, that must be physically hard to rig up. You'd have to, like, flip gravity in random places several times just for the halibut. *has sudden flashback to "Fishies"*
Banarok says:
i think the wall says get out
Banarok says:
oh theres the lost, okey now i see it
cavalier vert says:
But of course going down leads you upward! It's a magicians castle! It does not know the meaning of being straightforward!
Osk says:
well, the wall was right, they were definately getting lost, going down to get up
CtS fan says:
norbert- you're right! I zoomed in on the Ayne artwork and she DOES have green eyes! But she had blue eyes waaaaaay before now, though (when she got frozen by the dragon). Wonder why nobody noticed until now?
Kuyselle Goldword: Gravity ? Why ? You think so three-dimensionally ... this is just one of the simplest examples of what is non-euclidean maze capable of.
Prior Semblance says:
Just think with Portals ;)
Elystriana says:
Hmmm, so is the maze enchanted, or the door enchanted?
Golux says:
Get Lost! Heh, don't let the door slam behind you, or you'll be waiting until the dragon can fly.
-Norbert- says:
Not neccessarily. Leaf can just use his cloack as a parachute like he used to do in the beginning of the comic and get Malv :)
Eraikei W.O. says:
That is, assuming Malv weren't in on it to begin with.
Well, about 4D:
The universe is 4-dimensional! You can go forever in one direction and end up where you started! Which means that either the universe is donut-shaped, or that by going forever in one direction 3-dimensionally, you're traveling in time, but you end up in the same place at, theoretically, the same time. Which means you moved backward AND forward in time, at the same moment. Which makes my brain do somersaults. Which is why I like 3D better.
Kuyselle Goldword: Actually, most physicists suppose that there are more dimensions in our universe - for example 10 in string theory, 11 in M-theory. Large Hadron Collider is supposed to prove that (as one of 8 main problems).
InBetween says:
you know, for a group used to travel with pixies, they are suprisingly easy to get confused by simpel things like non 4 d enviroments...
