Oooh pretty! Probably explains the horse that just appeared in the sketchbook section. There's no in-between-frames-pixies in todays comic ... i wonder why :P
Cool. Glad you didn't take the cop out of Donald Duck with the "4 ice bears in a snowstorm" (i.e. a white painting...).
Allthough I must admit to having seen one such a pinting IRL it was black and called "Blind man looking out through a window"...

I guess most people had a dramatic piece from "The Last Unicorn" soundtrack in their heads (hence the references to the forrest not being aflame).
But to me they don't really look afraid or like they are rushing at topspeed through the forrest. Looks more like they just gallop for the fun of it. Just a pleasure stroll you could say.
-Norbert-: I agree that they don't look afraid or frightened. But I also think that unicorns are not so gregarious and it's not normal to have so many of them on one place. Therefore, I would assume they running TO something. Maybe last virgin in area?

I think a group of unicorns is called a glory too, but I don't know where I found that out.
It might make more sense than 'blessing' though as it's similar to a 'pride' of lions, for example?

If you've ever seen the movie, "The Last Unicorn" with the voice of Angela Lansbery and music by the band America, they have a few unicorn charges in that. Much the same thing and it sets the precident for unicorn charges in the first place, nice picture by the way..

Actually their is an old old and I mean really old book which describes the procedure of implanting a horn into the head of the lead horse in a herd. This was susposedly the source of the stories. This however is only a rumor more than anything else, but if it's true it would be interesting... oh, and as to the answer of the name of the movie, "The Last Unicorn" I said it earlier but apparently the person asking was a little blind.

@Volxtreema: It is normally, when the creators have enough time and sanity left over to do the comic, seeing as they are busy leading ordinary lifes as well, updated Monday - Wednesday - Friday. Timer seems to indicate an update on Friday now. Yay! :)

..hey.. just because it's been put on hiatus, doesn't mean it's gone for good. i'm willing to wait it out. plus us Humans have this habit of saying "screw you" to the universe until it accepts that we won't stop or it crushes us outright.
