hmm well if it makes any difference to you i noticed by the fact that 1) feiht doesnt appear to be in panel 6 and by the fact that ayne looks away in panel 6 that feiht obviously teleported herself away :)

Given that it doesn't have radar, GPS, autopilot, air conditioning, regular mals or an in-flight entertainment system, I'd have to disagree with that. Although it's probably more comfortable than flying Economy.

Ladies and gentlemen, "Why dwarves like to keep their feet solidly on he ground." Reason One: Unreliable source of power. Reason Two: Innate, rational fear of falling out of the sky and suffering severe injury and/or death upon reaching the sudden stop at the end of said fall.

Oh dear. A squishity death seems slightly iminent, although the glider will help a lot. This is a really pretty comic, anyway.

I don't know. It looks like they have been gliding w/out Feiht pulling them so I doubt they will fall now that she's gone. I love the comment in panel 4.

i love how Myhrad holds on to the bar with all 4 paws :D At first i thought Aynes legs were missing in the last panel but i guess it's just perspective... Or were the legs left out because that's where the warp effect was supposed to be?

Well, Feiht has been sitting on the bar since panel 3, so that glider must be doing something right. Here's to hoping they can tilt it down a bit so that they can keep up their speed and not stall.

Anyway, a normal piece of cloth and some wood might not be sufficient to make a proper glider for a human, but fortunately elves and presumably dragons are of a lighter build.

Still love Ayne's outfit, and Leaf and Ayne's expressions in panels 3 & 4 is priceless. Maybe this is where Myhrad will learn how to fly.

I agree that the graphics are amzing. Leafs face and posture in the second and third caption is absolutely adorable. The smile of utter relaxation and satisfaction Vs the deep angst in the third.

Dark Dragon: I don't get it either!! Flying is lotsa fun...and we've (I'm not skitzo, fyi) actually never crashed :P But then...there's a first time for everything, so I'd better watch out...

So it's Chasing the Sunset (aka cartoon) physics, it's impossible to say what happens. In many cartoons a threat is only realized when those in peril notice it (aka. Wiley running off a cliff until he looks down). I suppose CtS is more "real" than that, but even in best of cases they would be looking at crash-landing on unintended part of the swamp. Really seemed set-up for that from the beginning; unless Myhrad decided to learn to fly to power them on, but there doesn't seem to be great enough peril to warrant it - at least yet. Gotta agree though, great comic and fantastic art. (Naturally, it's a fntasy comic after all:)

Yes, to fly one must head for the ground and at the last possible moment be distracted by something so much that you forget to hit the ground. Therefore it is most likely that someone with ADD or ADHD is most likely to learn to fly first because of their tendency to get distracted.

It's not the fall that hurts, it's the sudden stop at the end.

Hmmm... i wonder if this flying experience would make Myhrad a little more confident, and perhaps make him want to try his own wings. If for no other reason, that would be safer then using pixie powered hanggliders. The way he looks scared now, i wouldn't be surprised if he actually let go in order to reach the ground as soon as possible. Even if he can't fly, just spreading his wings should send him nicely gliding down to the earth no?

Just my opinion. My friends and I are used to PCs and our school has all macs now....I haven't taked to a single person in the whole school that is a mac advocate

I thought you meant they'd been broken somehow. I've been using both Macs and PCs for the last 12 years, and I prefer Macs, as they crash less, much less, and many viruses that affect windows don't affect Macs.

Once again, maybe it's just me, but macs crash all the time. They just hate me. I'm friends with my PC :) It likes me....most of the time....yeah, no computers are perfect. Wait about fifteen years and they will be :P

I don't like computers that refuse to cooperate. My motto is, "Kick it a few times, see what happens." Unfortunately percussive therapy does not always work. Plus computers don't respond to threats.
