Killer Wombat says:

It was a good idea at the time though.....

Odo says:

Yay! It really did work.

A good landing is one you walk away from, or wade away from in this case.

Good job, as always.

Odo says:

I wonder what Myrhad will find at the bottom of the muck.

Skreyola says:

I wonder when Feiht will find them... and whether she will want to try out her all-purpose cleaning and drying ability (not for use with delicate fabrics or soft skin).

X-Kal says:

Well, look on the bright side, they've lost the pixie. Although, the comic would be alot less interesting without the pixie around...

ScottyDM says:

The Pixie will be back to demand to know where the fireworks factory is.

Sabreur says:

You know, I don't think this trip will do anything to help Myhrad's fear of heights...

Lee says:

Pity Myhrad didn't think of *turning around* and breathing fire. What could be cooler than a dragon-rocket-powered hang glider?

Nebra Reppalk says:

Killer Wombat: In regards to, "It was a good idea at the time.." That phrase can be applied to everyone's attempted invasion of Russia.

This is a fine mess they've gotten into, how will they get out of it now?

Dark Dragon says:

Lol..."It was a good idea at the time" applies to every attack on Moscow in the middle of winter, when the U.S. tried to take over Canada, and when my father looked into the back end of the spud gun and scorched his eyebrows off...

Lee: If Myhrad did that, how would he stay on the glider?

Lee says:

Hey, I can't think of everything...

Grognard says:

Hmm, can i point out that the last succesful invasion of Russia was by the Mongols, who invaded in winter, by choice, and won :)
It's the summer would-be invaders who got their lunch handed to them

Empress Catriona of the Cat-People says:

Lee, you are right, Myrhad facing backwards and breathing fire WOULD have been really cool. Jet-powered, dragon-powered, powered-flight...

Last time I fell in a bog, it made more of a 'shplort' noise than a splash...

monkey ninja says:

where has everbody gone in panel 5, htey are missing from the aircraft

Bastet says:

They're beneath the mud.
Poor Myhrad.

espademia says:

i do wonder what myhrad will find under the mud. what will happen if feiht came back and found them siting in the mud like that.

Furia Firelander says:

Leaf is still in trouble, I guess around now feiht will come back or leaf lose his control of the furies

Chariset says:

Poor Leaf. He never quite gets to be the elven MacGuyver, does he?

Glennr55 says:

Hmm i wonder if pixies believe something to be true does that make it true? and if so does that mean because Feiht believes there to be a factory there will be one and then she will bring stuff back from it? O_o
Quite a worrisome thought a pixie with explosives.

Blue River says:

These last three pages were up pretty fast. Luv the expression on Leaf's fac in panel one! By the way, is Myhrad EVER going to learn to fly?

bookbook says:

Hi! great comic!
it would be fun if feiht had turned the glider to a paper airplane. wait, i think she did already from the look of panel four.
happy thanksgiving those of us who live in the USA!

Dark Dragon says:

MACGYVER!!!! SQUEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!
Empress Catriona of the Cat People: one would think it would make a sort of SHLURP *pop* noise....

Happy Thanksgiving is two days from now in the USA...you're a tad early bookbook...

Furia Firelander: I'm going to bet on the furies....

Dark Dragon says:

what's Day of Remembrance?

Empress Catriona of the Cat-People says:

It just went 'shplort' and then I started sinking. Thankfully I fell in near the edge, grabbed hold of an over head branch, and pulled myself out. I think one of my boots is still in the bog though.

Empress Catriona of the Cat-People says:

Day of Remembrance, in the UK, anyway, is when we remember all those who have died in wars, especially the two World Wars, and any ongoing conflicts.

AnyaStyrzod says:

I've landed gracefully in a couple of bogs myself...it's not terribly enjoyable...

(I heard SPLURSHpoppopOMGANYAAREYOUOKAY??, if anyone's interested...)

4WindsWanderer says:

I do not think that Leaf's glider is comparable to invading Russia, nor to I think it was ever a good idea at the time for the various people who tried to invade Russia to do so.

Eraikei W. O. says:

I'm taking this comic as a sign that the two of you are feeling better? Awesome! I love the update. The comic has improved greatly since I first started reading CtS...

PhoenixMark says:

SPLAT!!!

Uh...

That better not be quicksand.

Jen says:

That day of war was 11th. I think. Doesn't it rather reffer to this?
(linky in handle)
Makes more sense from their comic, being more pro-tolerant than pro-war from what it's looked so far. Doesn't look to have much to do with the theme though, unless you count the 'Leaf is a girl' comments

Bastet says:

Where's Feiht?

Empress Catriona of the Cat-People says:

I think the point of Remembrance Day (11th) is that 'Too many people die in wars. Those people were brave, but war is bad, peace is better.' Or at least that's what I got back when I was at school. I hadn't heard of Transgender Remembrance Day before. Sounds like a good idea to me.

Troia says:

Just a random note, but if you look at the population bar there are 666 dragons.

Sami_the_ghost says:

I think it's cute how, in the second pannel, you can see Myhrads tail.

Dark Dragon says:

Oh...so Day of Remembrance is sorta like Veteran's Day in the U.S.....Happy Guy Fawkes Day!
Yes I know that I'm late saying that, and yes I know they only celebrate it over in England...But I think it is a cool holiday.
AnyaStyrzod: lol...I don't think anyone likes landing in bogs...

Dark Dragon says:

LET'S ATTACK MOSCOW IN THE MIDDLE OF WINTER!!! WOOHOO!!!

thewatermelon...or so it seems. says:

sorry. im using a little to much inuendo.....or am i?(:-> hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaaaaa!!!!

thewatermelon...or am i the infamous yellow potato of moscow attracted to the great comic and all so says:

huh?

Bastet says:

There are 667 dragons now!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AnyaStyrzod says:

Dark Dragon: It might be the muddy bits :P

thomas says:

what a shame about the pretty new clothes though :(
this reminds me alot of the dagobah-scene in starwars... i hope you have a yoda-character coming up =)

CryptoGirl says:

good point about the furies. we haven't seen them for a while.

Aerinelf says:

Just his tail sticking out...heehee.

thewatermelon...mwa ha ha!!! says:

yar schreebotch. i'll give shinys to anyone who can dechifer that

Nebra Reppalk says:

For all who are interested, the conflict that became known as World War I was ended at the eleventh hour (A.M) on the eleventh day of the eleventh month in 1918. (November 11th, 1918 A.D./C.E.) The people who wrote the armistice thought it would be good for history to end it like this, but then everybody started firing their guns and ordering men over the top just to get the last shot in "The Great War". I think that was kind of wasteful myself.

thewatermelon says:

GREat war? it was arful! and where is everybody anyway? usually i have five of six comments in between

AnyaStyrzod says:

Americans are probably all still in the midst of Thanksgiving...

raisin says:

i heard a neeeeeoww bang! glubglubglub

AnyaStyrzod says:

Where'd the 'neeeeeoww bang!' come from??

Nebra Reppalk says:

By "Great War" they meant the biggest, most destructive war to that point. It was also referred to as "The War to End all Wars." Ironically it was the cause of World War II

raisin says:

It came from the hang glider thingy speeding down (neeeeeeow) and hitting the swampy thing (bang). The glub glub was everything sinking.

Silverwolf says:

Too bad there isn't much in the way of a thermal over a bog. Still...they survived.

JuneBug says:

lol
XP

hailstorm says:

Good i dea except for the fact you where relying on fieht
